The MSS e-Employment Application System with e-Interview function is now fully operational and open to Job Seekers. Applicants can log into the system by registration using basic information to make a booking for e-Interview. The e-Interview takes place on the web through video-conferencing tools such as WhatsApp, WeChat, Skype, Zoom or MS Teams. Only after a successful interview do applicants need to fill in a standard e-form to complete the e-Application process. These simple steps will greatly save applicants travelling and waiting time they currently have to spend when making a normal employment application. All applicants are now encouraged to go and try by starting the process at https://eeas.msshk.com/register

Hand in Hand with the  company reform that has taken place over the last two years, one other important issue, that of staff welfare, has and is being brought up to date. This will ensure that the all-round staff packages will be enhanced and optimised.  This has been achieved through the collection of employees’ opinions by carrying out surveys and interviews undertaken by the Staff Welfare Working Committee which was formed last year for this very purpose.  Now  a series of staff benefit items from Marriage Leave & Gestures, New-born Subsidies, Study Subsidies, Group Merchants Discount Offers, Medical Coverage up to aged 65, Compassionate & Condolences Leave as well as Birthday Vouchers are now in place and applicable to all full-time employees.  There are other improvements as well as new items in the pipeline currently under consideration and these will likely be confirmed and implemented in the not too distant future.

在過去兩年多,宏力保安進行了多方面的內部改革,其中一項是檢討員工福利政策,並透過問卷調查和會面收集員工的意見,更成立員工福利委員會並邀請基層和前線代表加入,與管理代表共同商討;最近有多項福利事項,包括結婚假及賀金、育嬰奶粉津貼及添丁賀金、進修津貼、集團購物優惠、醫療保障至65歲、恩恤假及慰問金,以至慶生蛋糕券,都已經落實執行,並適用於全職員工,還有多項優化及改善建議仍在研究中,有待稍後進一步落實。

 

 

MSS announces the promotion of Mr. Boris KWAN to Assistant General Manager with effect from 1 November 2021. Mr. KWAN joined MSS in February 2019 and has been overseeing the Security and Support Departments in his position of Principal Security Manager. Prior to joining MSS, Mr. KWAN had worked at Vigers Security Limited as an Associate Director. Before taking up a role in private security Mr. KWAN had a 36-year career in the Hong Kong Police Force which saw him bestowed with the Police Meritorious Service Medal on retirement.

宏力保安宣布關煥民先生於二〇二一年十一月一日晋升為助理總經理;關先生於二〇一九年二月加入宏力保安為首席保安經理,一直掌管保安部及支援部。關先生曾服務於威格斯警衞有限公司任職聯席董事,在未加入私人機構之前,關先生於香港警務處服務三十六年後退休,隨即獲頒香港警察榮譽奬章。

MSS has been using the GalliNet UK programme PeopleHours™, a Cloud-based Duty Rostering and Reporting System, for over two years, to manage all their frontline duties in Hong Kong.  Software updates as well as total commitment and support have been continually received from GalliNet and this has ensured the system runs perfectly and smoothly without faults.   Very recently the new SMS (Short Message Service) function of the programme has been developed and activated for guards to receive confirmations prior to duties.

MSS has been recognised under the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) 2020-21 Good MPF Employer Award Scheme to receive awards for two categories namely i) Good MPF Employer and ii) e-Contribution.  This proves that MSS has attached great importance to retirement protection for its employees.  MSS Chief HR & Admin Manager Amy AU (photo R3) says she and her payroll team (photo) are inspired by the honours and further explains that the awards are earned by implementing the Cloud-based Duty Rostering and Reporting System introduced much earlier.  The system ensures payroll efficiency and accuracy and causes MSS staff in particular the frontlines to have increasing trust and confidence towards the company.

At MSS, On-the-job Training is set as one of the Management Priorities to cater for the varying needs of its clients.  MSS has won 3 Gold and 1 Silver Best Training Awards of 2020, which respectively go to MSS Headquarters, Manulife Financial Centre, Metro City Plaza II & III, and One International Finance Centre and Mall.  The campaign is co-organised by the Vocational Training Council and Hong Kong Police Crime Prevention Bureau, and is supported by the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority.

In October 2020, MSS introduced and began running its e-Training Platform by use of a Web App on a Smartphone to link with the e-Training website; this was in addition to its traditional In-class Training. MSS’ e-Training has interactive online lectures and quizzes as well as live video talks with the Chief Trainer as and when needed. At MSS, on-the job training is provided to frontline officers on a monthly basis with a yearly schedule planned in advance and tailored to the Clients’ needs, all with electronic logs and certificates of completion for Clients’ reference and mutual records. The e-Training Platform is also part of the Certificate in Basic Security Services (Qualification Framework Level 1) Course conducted by MSS, which guides students to access the specified learning materials in the most convenient manner.

宏力保安於二〇二〇年十月引入及操作電子訓練平台,利用智能手機透過網絡應用程式連接主訓練網站,來輔助及加強傳統的課堂訓練;宏力保安的電子訓練提供互動及在線的講課和測驗,有需要時更可與總訓練主任現場視像對話;宏力保安一向每月為前線人員提供在職訓練,而這些訓練都是由訓練部每年籌劃或就客户要求而度身訂造,全程有電子記程和合格證書供客户備考及作雙方紀錄。電子訓練平台亦是宏力保安所舉辦的保安員培訓證書 (資歷架構第一級)課程的一部分,讓學員非常方便地透過平台找到課程指定的學習材料。
