Responsible Professionalism As is required by law all of our staff , managerial and operational are registered with the Hong Kong Police Forceˇ¦s Security Companies Inspection Unit (SCIU).In addition to compulsory background checks MSS fosters a professional and highly ethical environment, for our staff to carry out their daily tasks. All staff are taught, that being a commercial organisation supplying security services, we must be beyond reproach and highly transparent when it comes to legal and ethical issues. To ensure we can keep our promise we implemented the Integrated Management System to provide us with clear guidelines and procedures to deal with all types of foreseen and unforeseeable events. Further more our management team closely and consistently supervises each security staff member ensuring adherence to the set out procedural and ethical guidelines.

In addition constant reviews will allow us to take measures to identify possible issues before they occur allowing us to resolve concerns before a problem escalates. The IMS can give our customers peace of mind knowing that there is high degree of accountability and responsibility taken on by our staff when action-ing service requirements and that all our staff are committed to "Making Service Simple" for our customers.

With the Integrated Management System comes the accreditation for Environmental Awareness and Occupation Health and Safety.

As mentioned previously MSS has adopted the concept of corporate responsibility, in an age of throw away and disposable products it is very important for small, medium and large companies to adopt environmentally sound and safety conscious policies. Not only to ensure the well being of their staff, but of their customers and the general public.

At MSS these concepts are taken very seriously, the requirements of our accreditation are such that safety briefings are held regularly at our work sites and our staff are encouraged by way of briefing and our new "MSS News" monthly newsletter, to report any unsafe practices and or areas. This training and reporting assists in minimizing the health and insurance risks faced by our customers and us. These issues become more and more important as economic situations worsen, conversely on the positive side, constant safety reminders help our staff and customers to carry out business in harm reduced and secure environment.

When it comes to the accreditation for environmental awareness all staff are counseled on the most efficient use of resources. We are actively reducing our paper usage by way of form consolidation both in the office and at our work sites. Our staffs are encouraged to minimize the use of electrical appliances and lighting where possible to notify building management of any areas where power can be saved. All of those products used in daily operation are recycled where possible, this includes radio batteries, uniforms (2nd hand stores) and other reusable items.

We believe that the general public, property management companies and Owners Incorporate committees are more committed than ever before to environmentally sound and safe work practices; this is the growing trend both in Hong Kong and globally.

MSS embraces these concepts in an attempt to stand out in an industry full of competition.
