IMS Accreditation

Since the accreditation for our ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:1996 & OHSAS 18001:1999 on 9 May 2003, we are pleased to announce that we have carried out our yearly continuous ISO Audit Assessment on 11 – 12 May 2006 and our efforts were recognized and accredited by British Standard Institution (BSI).

 

Recruitment Day

In order to recruit more applicants for our manpower needs, MSS joined two Recruitment Days – to hold at Chai Wan IVE and HK City Hall on 27 June and 28 June respectively.

Contracts Awards

 

We are proud to announce that several contracts have been awarded including Regalia Bay, located in Southern District of Stanley and Grandiose, currently new development at Tseung Kwan O, with the commencement of working day effective as of 1 June 2006.

Apart from our accomplishments in June, we also have other events and short-term contracts awarded.

Recruitment Update – Staff Referral Bonus

 

The “Staff Referral Bonus for posts at Cyberport and Two IFC” has been extended. Due to the continuous large manpower requirements located at HK sites, we are pleased to announce that our bonus scheme will be extended until further notice to assist our recruitment drive.

Positions include Customer Services and Facilities Attendants for Cyberport, Security Officer, Concierge and Hotline Services Officer for Two IFC.

Life-long Learning and Training

 

MSS is committed to continuously provide our security personnel with recognized qualification in training of security guard through various high interactive and practical training courses.

Further to the Fire Safety Ambassador Training held last September, our Training Department has conducted an advanced two days Fire Safety Ambassador Trainer Training with the Fire Services Department.

Apart from Fire Safety Training, we also worked with St. John Ambulance to organize a 4 days “Adult First-Aid Certificate Course” with 30 hours duration to front-line and office staff. The course aims at enhance the hand-on practice for First Aid Treatment to staff, so as to strengthen their capability while carrying out duties.   

PS: The Examination Result of the course will be announced on July 24, 2006 through the Association counter or their enquiry hotline on 2524 4888, please check the result for the issuance of certificate. 

 

Taxation – HR Department

 

Kindly be informed that HR Dept has finished delivering the EMPLOYER’S RETURN OF REMUNERATION AND PERSIONS for the year as of 1 Apr 2005 to 31 Mar 2006 to all security personnel.

To facilitate your completion of 05 – 06 taxation return, please check to make sure you have received Form IR 56 B and notify your site supervisor or Regional Operations Officer if you have any changes in your personal details.
